Residential

We work closely with home-owners to realise the potential of their property. Our work often involves refurbishment and extension, and we start by undertaking an options appraisal to give you an idea of what is possible – suggesting ways to reconfigure layouts to maximise light and space, to meet your brief and budget.

We work closely with Planning and Building Control authorities to get it right first time, saving you time and money. We have extensive experience working with St Albans District Council, Dacorum, Hertsmere and Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council. Our work covers St Albans, Harpenden, Radlett, North London area, Hatfield, Welwyn and surrounding villages.

We tailor our services to suit your needs and can offer full contract administration up to project completion. We assist many of our clients throughout the tender process and construction to ensure that the build runs smoothly, on time and on budget. Our collaborative approach ensures a good relationship with your chosen contractor from the outset; this ensures issues arising on site are dealt with promptly and fairly without impacting on design quality.

Education

We have extensive experience designing schools, nurseries and further education buildings. We offer a full range of architectural services from RIBA Stages A to L and can deliver projects from £200K to £10M+. We are able to extend our resourcing for larger projects in collaboration with another local practice, with whom we have recently completed a 10 Year Masterplan for St Margaret’s School, Bushey.
